About me...
Hello! My name is Carmen Elena. I have a passion for culinary arts, and I use my experience as a multi-media journalist to discover hidden gems across Texas. I specialize in creating aesthetic photos and videos to help promote cafés, restaurants, and local businesses. I've visited 30+ restaurants across Texas, tasted delicious food, and even sat down with the chefs and owners to learn a little more about their business. Take look at my portfolio to see my work!
My journey here...
I'm just a simple, valley girl with very big dreams and goals. And I developed a passion for food at an early age by watching The Food Network Channel with my mom. I remember experimenting and trying out different recipes at home and making my family taste everything! Such fun memories.
My biggest culinary role models are the Barefoot Contessa, The Pioneer Woman, Paula Deen, Giada De Laurentiis, Sandra Lee, Bobby Flay, and of course my mamá! She makes the best authentic Mexican food!
